Hi! I’m Casey. I’m a 3rd grade teacher/missionary in Venezuela. Ultimately though I’m just a son of God, a follower of Jesus, and a constant needer of His grace.
I went to college at UC San Diego where I majored in Human Development and minored in Education Studies. During this time, I got to work in different public school settings, volunteer in urban settings, take on challenging leadership roles on campus, study abroad in Sweden at Lund University, and learn what it means to live a well-balanced life in pursuit of what means the most to me. I wouldn’t trade those last 4 years for anything.
Afterwards I stayed at UCSD and got a Master’s of Education and elementary teaching credential. It was a year filled with children, colleagues, mentors, busy-ness, stress, successes, failures….you know, all those things that provide growing experiences and make the road much more meaningful.
