language bombardment

So I just got back from my second movie theater experience in South America. The first one was in the VIP theater, which included wine. This one was not quite so posh however. We were watching Mission Impossible 4, and there is this scene where Tom Cruise is listening to a video clip of a Swedish man telling about his plan to destroy the world. The man was speaking Swedish, which immediately caught my attention, and then the computer that Tom Cruise was watching it on started translating what he was saying into (louder) English, and all the while the subtitles were playing everything in Spanish. These are my 3 languages, and in my efforts to understand something or anything, not knowing where to give my attention, I got perhaps 10% of the man’s plan to destroy the world. I also think I got some form of brain damage
